Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Introduction

Lab Heist ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile game developed by Volkan Tunc. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

Lab Heist does not require an account, login, or any personally identifying information such as your name, email address, or contact details.

The app uses a third-party analytics service (GameAnalytics) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data — for example which level was started, completed or failed, how long a session lasted, the selected language, device model, OS version, country, and a randomly generated install identifier. Analytics events are associated with that randomly generated identifier, but not with your name, e-mail address, or any other information that identifies you personally, and they are never used to track you across other apps or websites.

The analytics library is technically capable of reading Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA). Lab Heist never asks for tracking permission, so this identifier is not made available to the app and cannot be used to identify or follow you.

Data Storage

Game settings and progress (sound, sensitivity, completed rooms, best times, stars, notes) are stored locally on your device using standard system preferences.

If you are signed in to iCloud, a small amount of progress data is additionally synchronized through Apple's iCloud key-value storage so that it is preserved across your own devices. This data stays inside your personal iCloud account and we have no access to it.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive or store your payment details. Purchase validation is handled by Apple's StoreKit.

Third-Party Services

Lab Heist does not integrate any advertising networks. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and therefore the app does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

Network Use

The game itself is fully playable offline. An internet connection is only used to send anonymous analytics, to restore purchases, and to sync progress with iCloud when a connection is available.

Your Choices

You can stop progress syncing by disabling iCloud Drive for Lab Heist in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The analytics data described above is anonymous and aggregated.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
